[Verse 1]
A tear in the membrane
Allows the voices in
They wanna push you off the path
With their low-frequency wiring

(This is our interpretation of this song you could have another one)

In verse one he is talking about a sort of “tear” in your brain that could mean a sort of psychosis or like just something that isn’t right. “Allows the voices in” He’s probably referring to negative thoughts that he’s having that aren’t normal or just something bad in general. “They wanna push you off the path” could be referring to the voices and their intention of clouding his judgment and moving him away from his destined path. “With their low-frequency wiring” could mean that the voices aren’t that loud but they frequently appear.

[Chorus]
You can do no wrong
In my eyes, in my eyes
You can do no wrong
In my eyes, in my eyes

He could be talking about himself and how his fans, friends, or family view him. They could be thinking that he couldn’t do any wrong. He could also be referring to someone else, either someone he loves and he’s saying “They could do no wrong in my eyes.”

[Verse 2]
A drunken salesman (You can do no wrong)
You’re hearing damage
Your mind is restless
They say you’re getting better
But you don’t feel any better
(In my eyes, in my eyes)
Your speakers are blowing (You can do no wrong)
Your ears are wrecking
You’re hearing damage
You wish you felt better
You wish you felt better
(In my eyes, but at least)

He could be referring to someone who has a normal life and can “do no wrong” in their lives. This could mean they are also going through similar thoughts he has been going through and hearing them and understanding that they creep in sometimes. Someone like a drunken salesman can have those thoughts and as long as he can do no wrong in their eyes nothing could be so bad. This isn’t always the case but in this situation, it can be. “Your ears are wrecking” and “You’re hearing damage” In other words he’s talking about maybe trying to listen to music to differ from those voices. It could also mean that he is getting hearing damage from those voices little by little because they seem to be getting louder and maybe the damage is starting to affect him but convincing him to do those bad things.

My Rating: 8/10

I love the hidden meanings behind this song.
